posted Nov 17, 2010, 7:47 AM by Adam Gumble   [ updated Nov 17, 2010, 8:01 AM ]
The HHS Music Program will be taking their talents to Williamsburg, Virginia during the weekend of June 3-4, 2011!  The trip will include adjudicated performances by the Orchestras, Concert Bands, and Choirs in addition to a day at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg!

NOTE: Due to logistical concerns, HMK will NOT be performing on this trip.
- Instrumentalists who are not involved in Concert Band during the school day will perform as part of the Concert Band on the Music Trip.  Instrumentalists will receive the Adjudication Pieces to work on independently during the Spring.  Three after school rehearsals to refine the Concert Band Adjudication Pieces will be scheduled in the Spring.
- Color Guard members are encouraged to go on the HHS Music Trip as a reward for their hard work.  They will serve as equipment managers on adjudication day.

OTHER INFORMATION:
> The cost of the trip will be under $250 and will depend on the number of students in attendance.
> All students must submit a $100 deposit with the letter of intent by December 10, 2010.
> A pizza fundraiser will be held in order to provide students with the opportunity to build their Student Account Balance.  This department fundraiser can also be used to accrue funds for the Indoor Ensembles' Wildwood Trip.
> The trip balance will be due on February 11, 2011
> A parent information meeting will be scheduled and announced in January.
> The letter of intent can be found below.
