HHS Arts Festival is One to Remember!

Congratulations to all of the musicians who performed in Thursday's HHS Arts Festival!  Small Ensembles kicked the evening off in the Commons by performing the repertoire that had been prepared over the course of the semester.  The music moved to the PAC with a performance of John Beck's "Overture for Percussion Ensemble."  The chamber music concluded with a performance of the Artunian Trumpet Concerto by Marian Bechtel (Trumpet) and Sarah Broadwell (Piano).

The large ensemble portion of the concert began with the HHS Concert Band followed by the Symphonic Band and Combined Bands.  The evening concluded with an emotional performance of "Tale of the Black Knight" composed by Hempfield senior horn player Rich Hill.

Check back soon for concert recordings as they become available!  Also, a copy of both the Chamber Program and Concert Program are attached.
